A leading law firm is searching for an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Insurance Defense Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance law and litigation, with a passion for defending clients against claims in a variety of areas, including personal injury, property damage, and professional liability.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in insurance defense cases, including pre-trial, trial, and appellate levels.
  • Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct depositions, witness interviews, and trial preparation.
  • Analyze case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to insurance defense.
  • Collaborate with clients, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders to develop case strategies.
  • Stay updated on legal developments and changes in insurance law.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active Louisiana Bar license.
  • 3+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
